The Lauderdale Lakes area is known as a summer recreational spot for Chicago residents as well as a hideout for notorious Chicago gangsters. Consisting of three lakes, Green Lake, Middle Lake and Mill Lake, connected by channels, Lauderdale Lakes boasts 16 miles of shoreline. How long has THE BOAT HOUSE BOAT CLUB been in business?

TBH Boat Club has been in business since 2020. We are originally a boat dealership based out of the Midwest and Florida. Our Midwest dealership locations include Lake Country, WI., Lauderdale Lakes, WI., LakeGeneva, WI., and Johnsburg, IL. Our Florida dealership locations include Port Charlotte, Naples, and Cape Coral. We are proud to announce the addition of TBH Boat Club available across allocations.

Can I go boating at other BOAT HOUSE BOAT CLUB locations?

Yes, if your membership plan includes reciprocal membership, you can boat at any of our TBH Boat Club locations in the U.S., in Florida, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

How do I know there will be boats available?

Our reservation system ensures that all member share equal access to the boats, plus members can make guaranteed reservations in advance. Reserving a boat has never been easier. Once you're a member of THE BOAT HOUSE BOAT CLUB, you can reserve any of the boats in our premium fleet through TBH Boat Club app. Simply log in to your dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.

Do you offer boat training/safety classes?

TBH Boat Club is a major proponent of boater education and safety. Each one of our Clubs provide FREE training to our local members regarding the safe use and operation of your ‘home club’ fleet. This generally includes custom training videos you will be granted access to once you join TBH Boat Club. Members must complete this training course before they can start reserving boats.

Are there any usage charges?

No, you will never have usage charges. Your only additional cost is for the fuel that you use.

What type of boats do you have?

Each market chooses its own fleet based on the needs and demands at the location. These range from a variety of boats including pontoons, deck boats, runabouts, and center consoles. Our top on the line brands include Cobalt, Bennington, Godfrey, Sportsman and Hurricane.  

Do you rent your boats?

Never. This is a private fleet. We do not rent any of the boats in our fleet. This allows us to better maintain the condition of our boats and ensures the highest possible level of fleet availability to our members.

How many times can I go boating per year?

Depends on the Club – 30+ uses depending on your membership tier.

Where do I buy fuel?

Fuel is available at or near each marina. Depending on the location and membership level, members may incur additional fuel charges upon use or be required to return the boat with a full tank of gas. 

What safety equipment is on the boat?

All boats have required equipment including life jackets, a fire extinguisher, sound equipment, and flares. Boats are checked for this equipment by both the dock staff and member prior to departure.

How do you qualify members?

Membership is open to boaters of any skill level, 21 years of age and older. Whether you’ve never boated before, or you’ve boated for years, TBH Boat Club welcomes you as a member.

Who can I bring with me?

If a member is present, you can bring friends, family, guests, children, and colleagues. No pets allowed.

What if I damage the boat while using it?

Members are responsible for damages and any cost incurred to repair them. A full list of damages along with repairs costs are included with membership contracts.
